Hood Positioning Device (HPD) -

Flextraction’s quality Hood Positioning Device (HPD), perhaps more commonly referred to as an Extraction Arm, continues to be offered with a 5 year, return to base, warranty. 

Since its design and introduction to the market it has seen small, but significant engineering adjustments to ensure it continues to offer not only maximum value for money but also optimum performance.  The rear end of the HPD is now available with a re-designed swivel joint and the Mini version of the HPD has been made even more stable with an improved rear pivot joint and square bracket.   In order to offer even greater movement and rotation at the hood end, we have introduced an optional extra of an axis joint that can be located within the front tube.      

The HPD’s versatility means that it is suitable for an even greater number of applications and as it comes in a wide variety of lengths and dimensions and with an extensive choice of hoses, ensures that there is one to meet the needs of your industry; from soldering, lasering, welding, through to food standards uses and ATEX environments.
